LONDON Rasheem Green Youth Jersey , Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- A huge fatberg, 250 meters long and at 130 tonnes weighs as much as 11 of London's famous double-decker buses, soon could be making its debut at the Museum of London.


The museum has confirmed Thursday it wants a slice of the enormous Whitechapel Fatberg, a monster slab of fat Michael Dickson Youth Jersey , wet wipes, condoms, nappies and oil, found in one of the sewers beneath the British capital.

Museum of London officials are now in talks with Thames Water about having a slice of the fatberg as a future exhibit.


A spokesman at the museum said: "This rock-solid mass highlights some of the pressures modern life can impose on London's historical infrastructures. Issues like this are discussed and explored in the museum's City Now City Future season which deals with contemporary issues that cities around the world face."


Museum director Sharon Ament said: "The discovery of this fatberg highlights one of the many issues London has to deal with as it grows and evolves. Our year-long season, City Now City Future, explores what the future holds for people living in urban environments.


"It is important for the Museum of London to display genuine curiosities from past and present London. If we are able to acquire the fatberg for our collection I hope it would raise questions about how we live today and also inspire our visitors to consider solutions to the problems of growing metropolises."


The spokesman said the museum is hoping to confirm the acquisition very soon of what is one of the largest fatbergs ever discovered in Britain, and has opened a dialogue with Thames Water.


A team of eight operatives have already started to remove the fatberg using high-power water hoses to break up the mass. The pieces are being sucked up into tankers and taken to a recycling site in London.
